When you get criticism about your work, you immediately hate it—because your work is personal. It's yours, and you'd like to do it often. When someone tells you that your work didn't work, it's frustrating as hell.
Internet critics are the worst because they're unhelpful. They have theories about what we do and think they can bring it up and expect you to make changes for them.
I think it's time to segregate your critics. Look for the legit ones that can help you get better at your work.
How to Find Legit Critics:
1. If they took the time to check out your work and learn your intent, they're legit.
2. If they're invested or enrolled in your creative journey, they're legit.
Ignore the rest.
